Job Description
PayPal, Inc. seeks Software Engineer 3 in Chicago, IL
Job Duties: Use analytics and data science skills to help analyze the data based on product requirements. Come up with recommendations to build the most optimized reporting data model and write validation queries to identify discrepancies in the data. Work directly with Product Owners and Domain Technical leads to build & train models. Run models using Kubernetes cluster and perform feature extraction. Come up with data-driven insights and present the insights and KPIs with the stakeholders. Create presentations and reports based on recommendations and findings. Write queries for runbooks that automate the discrepancy identification process. Deliver within schedule in an Agile software development using test-driven development methodologies. Partial telecommuting permitted from within a commutable distance.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science plus four years of experience in data engineering or a related occupation.
