Job Description
A Digital Manufacturing and Application Engineering Technician (Midwest Region) is needed in Elgin, Illinois to assist the engineering team with the modification, development, and testing of injection molding machines, robotics and peripherals. Reviews mechanical product parts, issues with system malfunctions and provides technical information. Investigates equipment failures by assembling/disassembling mechanical systems. Mentors junior technicians to impart knowledge, train, and motivate colleagues. Utilizes comprehension of technological and market trends/needs within the plastics industry on a daily basis. Serves as technical advisor to Sales Team to answer technical product questions. Studies and evaluates customer requests and recommend specific equipment and processing solutions. Three (3) years of related technical experience with test injection molding machines, robotics and peripherals required. Brief domestic travel required. Email resumes to ARBURG Inc.
