Job Description
Natural Fiber Welding seeks Product Engineer in Peoria, IL to support customer-driven new textile product development projects and launch activities; Benchmark existing consumer textile products against NFW developed materials; Perform statistical data analysis and recommend development direction; Set up standardized tests, execute and analyze test data; Conceptualize, develop, set up, and execute new tests to explore specific product value propositions; Communicate directly with customers; Verify customer desired claims on products through testing; Manage relationships with, and coordinate testing at 3rd party testing labs; Handoff newly developed tests and procedures to the quality assurance team; Coordinate with quality assurance on the testing of standard tests; Work through the product development team to ensure that customer requirements are met; and Provide textile knowledge and expertise in relevant development areas. May require up to 5% international and domestic travel.
