Job Description
- Plan, organize, direct, coordinate and control maintenance activities
- prioritize and coordinate members of maintenance staff for work on down machines
- work directly with production associates, maintenance technicians, and supervisors to diagnose machine operation variations and equipment problems
- manage work order and preventative maintenance management system, to keep system updated; support and guide troubleshooting and repairing of complex equipment including automated machines, robotics, controls, panels, relays, circuit breakers, communication systems and drives
- diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, and detect and replace defective components when necessary
- develop A3 root cause analysis reports for excessive downtime
- interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, sketches or schematics, and instruct and train maintenance technicians in methods and procedures
- drive 5S results and performance, ensuring area organization at end of shift is according 5S standards, as well as participate in projects to improve processes and reduce downtime.
