Professional Development Consultant- Special Needs Focus

The Professional Consultant - Art (PCA) is an 'on call' role. The position will report to the Project Coordinator Manager and work under the guidance of the SSL Special Needs Subject Matter Experts and will focus primarily areas defined below. All activities will be contracted on a per diem/project basis. Contracts are usually 1 year and require 8-10 workshops or professional development events through the course of that year. PCA's are compensated by project and/or workshop, professional development or conference.

Summary of Primary Responsibilities
Lead professional services and workshops for schools and districts using a combination of core and self-created templates.
Act as a pre-sales and post sales resource to Sales by providing presentations.
Make recommendations for additional services or implementation strategies that will contribute to customer success and year over year revenue
Assist with the development of courseware and training materials
Collaborate as a part of broader services team to delivery high quality training in North America.

Minimum Experience Requirements
Undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university with a Special Education Focus.
A minimum of 5 years previous work experience in K-12 area of expertise (Special Education Focus)
A minimum of 1 year of presentation experience.
Classroom experience
