In this role, you will:

+ Manage sale of leases or assets to achieve portfolio management, financial and strategic goals

+ Support facets of the acquisition process including pricing, bidding, securing internal approvals (credit/senior management) and documenting transactions

+ Work with corporate risk and pricing to evaluate creditworthiness of customers, appropriate structures, residual valuations, and oversee the internal approval process while maintaining yield approved by management. Transaction size can range from several million to several hundred million dollars

+ Build and maintain relationships with competitors, customers and financial institutions to facilitate acquisitions, joint ventures, syndications and equipment sales

+ Lead or participate in the growth of rail equipment fleet through acquisitions and direct calls on competitors and customers

+ Support the asset sale process which consists of identifying sale candidates, preparing and sending bid notices to potential buyers, tracking and evaluating bid receipts

+ Assist other department personnel in preparing internal deal summaries and deal approval memos as well as bid documentation

+ Identify opportunities for new and secondary market operating leases, single investor leases, leveraged leases and portfolio purchases through direct and indirect sources

+ Exercise independent judgment while developing expertise in the policies and procedures

+ Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

+ Stay current with industry trends and the develop and strong understanding of latest structure developments, accounting rules and tax laws

+ Attend appropriate education programs including industry training as a means to maintain and develop additional job related skills.

+ Represent WFR at appropriate conferences through attendance

Required Qualifications:

+ 4+ years of Rail Portfolio Sales experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

+ Experience with the acquisition process which consists of pricing, bidding, securing internal approval (credit/senior management) and documenting transactions

+ Experience working with corporate risk and pricing to determine creditworthiness of customers, appropriate structures, residual valuations, and overseeing the approval processes

+ Experience with Salesforce and Excel

+ Experience working with lessees in handling lease-end options on expiring structured leases including purchase options, renewal options or the return of equipment

+ Experience managing asset sale processes which includes of identifying sale candidates, preparing and sending bid notices to potential buyers, tracking and evaluating bid receipts

+ Experience with preparing internal deal approval memos as well as bid documentation

Salary range by location

+ $84,400-$143.000

Salary range is determined by location of the job. May be considered for a discretionary bonus, Restricted Share Rights, or other long-term incentive awards.
