JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Responsible for supporting projects across a wide range of automation, asset connectivity, and machine learning/vision systems.
* Interface directly with multiple teams including Engineering, Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain, Product Change Control and Safety.
* Work both independently and as part of a team to maintain and improve processes and systems used in manufacturing.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATONS:
* Bachelor"s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
* Masters will be acceptable in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
* 2-3 years of engineering experience
* General knowledge of automation concepts or robotics
* General knowledge of networked machines
* General knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
* General knowledge of data analytics
* Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work independently and manage one's time.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Experience with robot and/or PLC programming
* Experience with machine tool connectivity
* Experience with 3D modeling software
* Experience with machine learning / vision system
