Your role at Baxter:
The Technologist, SVP demonstrates skills in operating, repairing, troubleshooting and maintaining the manufacturing equipment. Is responsible for completing all processes in production while closely adhering to cGMP, environmental health and safety guidelines and any other related regulations which could apply. In addition to being fully accountable and involved in all production processes, they may problem solve in other functional areas. The incumbent acts as the leader of the department for their designated shift, prioritizing workload and managing personnel resources.What you'll be doing:
Basic electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery.
Troubleshoots machine issues and responds to process alarms.
Perform routine, preventative maintenance requirements.
Responsible for oversight of employees on shift, including employee role assignment.
Owns/drives shift tier meetings which includes all plantwide communications specific to department, including safety protocols, etc.
Responsible for the setup of machinery prior to production and ensuring efficiency throughout shift.
Initiates and drives process improvement projects for the department.
Trains and develops team members
Complete relevant paperwork following GDP/GMP guidelines, ensuring accuracy.What you'll bring:
High school diploma or equivalent with 3 years' experience. Bachelor's degree (with reduced years of experience) preferred.
Molding experience preferred, but not required.
Must have good written verbal communication skills with the ability to follow written instructions.
Individual must work in a clean room environment wearing special garments and personal protective equipment (PPE).
Knowledge of cGMP manufacturing and related knowledge of manufacturing processes.
Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Must have demonstrated interpersonal and leadership skills and be able to lead a work team effectively and efficiently in a team environment.
Overtime may be required at times.

At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $68,000-$93,500 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors.
