Job Description
Olin Winchester, LLC ("Winchester"), considered one of the world's leading ammunition manufacturers,is seeking a Part-Time Employee at NILO Farms. Essential Functions*:
Maintain NILO grounds, which includes mowing, weed eating, and limb/trash removal.
Maintenance on equipment and buildings.
Stock target fields, as needed.
Support shooting ranges trap, skeet, and sporting clays, which include filling and carrying targets, ammunition, and picking up empty shells.
Assist with hunts, including catching and putting birds on hunting courses, driving participants, and managing dogs.
Clean and maintain dog kennels, as requested.
Instruct guests on safety and shooting range protocols.
Execute customer payment transactions.
Position Requirements*:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Working knowledge in operating farm machinery, general construction equipment, and hand tools.
Must be able to work independently, lift/carry up to 50 lbs, climb stairs/ladders, walk considerably, stand for prolonged periods, work at heights, and in extreme weather.
Availability to work during the week and weekends, as needed.
Ammunition and firearm experience and knowledge of the shooting sports industry preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with internal/external customers, exercising extreme diplomacy.
This position requires successful vetting as an Employee Possessor in accordance with U.S. Department of Justice and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
This position requires access to ITAR controlled technical data, and as such, employment will be contingent upon the candidate's ability to access ITAR controlled technical data pursuant to an export license approved by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, if required.
