Job Description
Siemens Industry, Inc. seeks a Solutions Engineer to analyze customers’ technical specifications, one-line diagrams, and schematic diagrams regarding the application of Siemens Medium Voltage switchgear products along with associated protection and control systems and design appropriate product solutions to meet customer expectations in cost-effective and timely manner. Work independently and/or lead a project team to create all documents for customer approval and manufacturing of Medium Voltage switchgears. Utilize engineering configurator software to prepare one-line drawings, control schematics, and bill of material with a high degree of accuracy. Be a technical project leader taking full ownership of the overall deliverables while guiding a team of Jr. Engineers, designers, and drafters. Provide factory support during the manufacture of projects to ensure that the final deliverable is true to design. Provide technical support to customers. 10% travel requirement to Wendell, NC. Remote work allowed.
