Job Description

The Transportation Analyst is responsible to foster the ongoing administration of key transportation processes in alignment with standard operating procedures. In parallel the Transportation Analyst is to apply analytical techniques to solve more complex operational issues across the transportation space.

The Transportation Analyst performs qualitative and quantitative analysis using a variety of techniques, tools, and frameworks to draw logical conclusions. Key activities could include the oversight of daily processes and/or compliance related activities with a focus on driving continuous improvement. The Transportation Analyst works more frequently, in higher visibility applications with key vendor contacts as well as key internal partners.

Incentive: This position is eligible to participate in the Companys Incentive Plan. Incentive target will be 10% of your annualized base salary.

Responsibilities (May perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned).

1. Administers and monitors ongoing business processes. Drives performance to documented SOP's resulting in performance at targeted level/goals. Report progress / performance.

2. Performs qualitative and quantities analysis using a variety of tools to solve transportation related business problems. Gathers, consolidates, prepares and/or validates data for analysis. Relates findings to key business partners, drive improvements/implementation.

3. Administers planning metrics for programs and initiatives to measure business effectiveness and facilitate continuous improvement across the transportation function

Education & Experience

Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience.

3-5 years of experience, preferably in Compliance, Finance, Manufacturing, Retail, Supply Chain or Warehousing.

Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Power Point).
