Job Description
Drive a truck-trailer combination for extended periods of time in all types of weather conditions throughout contiguous 48 states. Transport automobiles over land to and from manufacturing plants or retain and distribution centers. Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions, lead and unload the truck. Inspect truck for mechanical and safety issues. Inspect load to ensure that cargo is secured. Plan routes and meet delivery schedules. Maintain logs of working hours, vehicle service and repair issues. Comply with company policies and procedures. Report defects, accidents or violations. Travel to various unanticipated locations i s\is required. CDL or within 60 days of hire. Employee will be based in Glenvioew, IL at the company’s headquarters.
