Job Description
Description:
· Ensure that Toll Global Forwarding is engaged with fit for purpose transport providers to ensure cargo is delivered to required expectations. · Accurately and clearly capturing information about number & size of shipment movements to analyze expenditure and maximize profitability. · Provide to management group regular updates of transactions / events & status of cargo movements. · Monitoring and reconciliation of accounts payable/receivable, regarding paperwork and processing to effectively manage a positive cash flow. · Promoting efficiency and safety and maintaining legal compliance matters pertaining to Fleet management. · Ensure compliance with state & federal requirements. · Supporting product development for TL/LTL/Expedite/etc to promote to new and existing Toll customers. · Serving as a liaison between the operational support functions of Toll and trucking vendors to meet internal and customer expectations and KPIS.Hours:
Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, Hybrid Schedule 3 days in office – 2 days at home
Skills & Qualifications:
· CargoWise 1 knowledge, preferred · Able to develop instructions and processes regarding cargo delivery facilitation. · Understanding of KPI, revenue, gross, and net profit reporting. · Customer/carrier Management / Negotiation skills · Methodical, planned and organized with high attention to detail · Knowledge of domestic trucking requirements, markets, and regulations · Understanding of maximizing revenue and minimizing cost to maximize profitability. · Understanding of importance of tasks and urgency of each task, and the internal capability to complete the most urgent tasks first as it relates to customer service.
