About the Role

This role oversees non-eligible defined contribution plan administration and advises clients and internal teams. Collaboration across the organization is crucial for developing strategies.
Additionally, this role includes identifying process improvements and implementing an internal training program. The ideal candidate should possess a thorough understanding of non-eligible plans and be proactive in communicating the company's strategic vision.

Responsibilities

Serving as a subject matter expert on non-qualified retirement plan regulations, compliance requirements, and industry best practices. Effectively consult and present to external executive leader roles on plan design, administrative considerations, and legislative landscape* Staying informed about market trends, legislative changes, and emerging technologies in the non-qualified retirement benefits space.

Partnering with product and technology teams to identify future investment opportunities in the non-qualified space. Ability to drive revenue growth.

Preparing and presenting non-qualified solutions and strategies during new client sales meetings.

Identifying and defining non-qualified plan needs during new plan implementations.

Creating and facilitating colleague training to build a deep knowledge of non-qualified plan and legislative knowledge.

Predicting, identifying, consulting, and communicating risks related to non-qualified plan design and best practices. Responsible for delivery models, and participant education.

Measuring continuous improvement of operational processes related to non-qualified plan administration. Driving general adoption of operational improvement measures.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in "non-qualified" defined contribution plan administration*

5+ years direct experience in client relationship management

Possess proficient technical knowledge of stock and non-qualified deferred compensation plan design. Also have regulatory requirements including deep understanding of IRC 409A*

Possess advanced management and organizational skills with ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.

Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

Possess a results-oriented mindset with a demonstrated ability to drive business growth and achieve targets.

Possess a proven track record of leadership and strategic planning.

Possess ability to anticipate needs of client based on deep retirement knowledge and market intelligence.

Possess experience with third-party vendor platforms.
