PT: 2pm-10pm Thursday and Friday// 8am-4pm Saturday and Sunday Part-Time

The Spirit of the Position:
The Porter is responsible for all janitorial responsibilities for garages and surface lots ensuring they are maintained and cleaned on a daily basis. Interface with customers, handle disputes, provide effective communication between departments, co-workers, customers and clients.
Principal Job Duties:.
Clean lot from back to front; keep in mind high volume lots, be cautious and wear safety vest and gloves. Please always use proper equipment and all follow all LAZ safety guidelines
Blow, sweep, weed eat, mow, trim trees the whole lot twice a day and trim as needed
Wipe down all equipment (Ticket Spitter, Gates, gate arms, Gate sleeves, outside of booth doors and windows.)
Sweep, scrub and mop all booth/ gate islands
Clean any and all bird droppings if any
Clean around car stops twice a day/ touch up paint as needed and secure/ adjust when needed.
Clean trash cans & lids (exterior & Interior) report if there is any damage to the trash cans
Empty trach cans twice a day
Clean all along fence line inside and out
Remove any weeds protruding from the surface
Cut and trim any weeds and branches along fence line, and through the lot if any, trim trees, to prevent any vehicle damage
Fill in pot holes as needed with asphalt
Check lot for any property damage such as; broken fence, equipment, fading signs, damaged signs, parking stops, pot holes, speed bumps etc. Please make sure to report it to your direct manager as soon as possible.
All areas require painting as needed- Light poles, light pole base, Bollards, car stops, arrows re striping, islands, parking equipment, ETC.
Education:
High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
Requirements:
Prior maintenance experience - 6months +
Experience with general facility maintenance required.
Skills:

Ability to communicate professionally and effectively.
Willingness to be flexible, work multiple facility locations.
Ability to handle challenging and at times, emotionally charged situations.
Must be able to work unsupervised.
Ability to speak, read, and comprehend the English language.
Must be able to make decisions independently and stay firm on decisions made (not easily persuaded).
Demonstrates a sense of urgency and timeliness.
Excellent team building and interpersonal skills.
Physical Demands:
Ability to lift, push and pull at least 30 pounds.
Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time.
Ability bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.
Ability to operate machinery including a golf cart.
