Job Description Summary
Adjunct faculty member to teach one or more classes in the Respiratory Therapy program for the St. Augustine site.
Responsibilities
Responsible to model the University's Mission through dedicated job performance, service excellence to constituencies, respectful collaboration and active support of the University's Mission as a Catholic and Lasallian institution of higher education.
-Teach one or more classes in a designated area
-Monitor the quality of laboratory equipment and replace or repair any defective items
- Set up the laboratory facility in preparation for a lab experience
-Assist students in performing the necessary skills being taught during the session
-Evaluate students' capability to demonstrate the skill being taught.
Minimum Qualifications
-BS (preferably in respiratory therapy)
-RRT credentials from the AZNational Board of Respiratory Care
-Minimum of 4 years of clinical experience (preferably in a critical care setting)
Preferred Qualifications
-Experience as a preceptor or clinical educator
-Teaching experience as a clinical and/or faculty instructor in a respiratory therapy program
