The product Procurement Organization is responsible for the acquisition of all Hardware, Software and Supply Chain Services required for Motorola to design, build and distribute Radio and Accessory products. The
Global Procurement team is evolving from more traditional sourcing and procurement goals by looking beyond simple cost savings and creating value for the corporation by improving product profitability, increasing supplier collaboration and leveraging supplier roadmaps to bring new solutions to our business partners. We are a client focused team designed to bring value and help lead innovations, revenue and savings within the business.Job Description
Motorola Solutions is seeking a Procurement Manager to work at one of our locations in Chicago (Hybrid) managing our EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services).

Responsibilities:
* Contract negotiations and EMS management.
* Obtain the best terms and contractual conditions while ensuring internal customer satisfaction.
* Manage the EMS daily to achieve high performance, cost transparency, and savings in accordance with the organization's strategic goals.
* Execute strategic initiatives, requests for quotations and cost reduction events.
* Define and improve sourcing strategies at business or site level.
* Developing and influencing category strategies that align with organizational objectives.
* Support New Product Introductions to drive optimal cost for the organization in the region in line with short, medium and long term strategies.
* Build strong and collaborative relationships with the EMS to develop a trusted relationship over time.
* Performing quarterly business reviews (QBR) with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure compliance and continuous improvement
* Engages cross-functional colleagues (quality, technical, operations, finance, etc.) in category
sourcing activities to ensure alignment with common goals and priorities

Preferred Qualifications:
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain effective relationships.
* An advanced level of understanding of the EMS industry, manufacturing processes, and cost control (P&L)
* Ability to influence and shape category strategies.
* Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding savings targets.
* Fluent in English, and Spanish preferred.
* Up to 25% travel domestically and to Mexico to visit MSI sites and key suppliers.
Basic Requirements
Required Skills:
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Manufacturing Engineering, Management, or Supply Chain Management
* Five years of experience in Strategic Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, or Supply Chain Management required.
* Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
