The IT Security Administrator is responsible for the security of INX's computer networks and systems. Will establish and enforce security policies and deploy, configure, and maintain security applications and systems to ensure the protection of enterprise systems, networks, and data. Will work with all levels of employees, customers and outside vendors.As IT Security Administrator, you will be responsible to:
Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures, including incident response and digital forensics.
Develop and implement cyber security training program for IT staff and end users.
Configure and maintain network access control, VPN, and firewall systems to protect systems, networks, and data
Configure and maintain security settings and access control for Microsoft 365 and on-prem applications and systems
Deploy endpoint protection and operating system and application security patches for Windows and Linux systems
Monitor security systems and logs and respond to incidents and anomalies; monitor for attacks, intrusions, vulnerabilities and risks within systems and networks.
Interface with contracted third party managed security services on detection and incident response
Lead weekly IT security team meetings to discuss incidents and status of security initiatives
Respond to customer and provider security questionnaires.Qualifications
To perform your job as expected, you will be required to:
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Computer Science with a focus in cybersecurity or proven experience working in an IT Security Administrator or similar rolehighly focused cyber security curriculum
Have 2 -5 years' experience innetwork security and networking technologies and system, and network monitoring tools
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Have strong attention to detail
Proficiency in developing and maintaining cyber security application,Microsoft 365, Windows and LinuxAdditional Information
