Position: Business Development Analyst
Position Summary:
BuddoBot is seeking an analyst to provide research and analysis for Federal government IT contract
opportunities to our Business Development team. The ideal candidate will conduct research by
collecting information across the Federal government to continually improve the company's
understanding and preparation in pursuit and award of government contracts.
Clearance Eligibility: Due to the nature of the work performed within our organization, US
citizenship is required. Must be able to pass a State and Federal criminal background check. The ability
to obtain a DoD secret-level clearance is a plus.
Salary: The salary offered will depend on education, certifications, length and relevance of work
history, and professional experience.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Conduct opportunity research by utilizing Deltek GovWin, Agency-specific procurement
forecasts, and websites, Federal Procurement Data System (FPDS), and other common research
tools.
* Research and analyze historical company data to support proposal efforts.
* Support the identification and qualification of Federal government opportunities aligned to the
company's services and solution offerings.
* Continually update opportunity records in the company's PipeDrive opportunity pipeline.
* Support the content development in response to RFIs/RFPs.
* Monitor the company's contract vehicle task order offerings via Deltek GovWin and vehicle-
specific websites/systems.
* Support solicitation proposal responses by coordinating content development, engaging in color
reviews, and assisting with proposal production.
* Coordinate activities and participate in fact-finding and proposal-planning meetings.
* Collaborate with teams on company marketing material development and updates in support of
outreach events such as industry days, opportunity teaming, and general networking.
COMPETENCIES:
* Basic understanding of (or the motivation to learn) Federal government procurement processes.
* Experience writing (especially responses to RFIs, RFPs, and white papers).
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Skilled at performing in-depth research, analysis, and data summarization.
* Curious and driven to investigate and increase understanding of specific organizations, domains,
activities, opportunity pursuit, etc.
* Basic understanding of Business Development and sales research tools (e.g., GovWin, FPDS,
SAM, USA Spending, IT Dashboard,).

* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft (MS) Office Suite.
* Ability to take direction and work collaboratively and independently to accomplish work
assignments.
Education and Certification Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 2+ years related work experience.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
* General office environment. Work is generally sedentary but may require movement about the
office for up to 10% of the time. The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and
temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by
noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office
equipment available.
* Contractor site with 0-10% travel possible
* Possible off-hours work to support releases and outages
* Occasional movement of small articles up to 10lbs
* Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
* Continually operates a computer and other office productivity machinery
* Occasionally required to move self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various
environments including tight and confined spaces
* Continually required to communicate information and ideas so others will understand
* Continually utilize visual acuity to operate equipment, read technical information, and/or use a
keyboard
