Job Summary 
 In collaboration with the Chair of the Department of Nursing and Public Health and the directors of the Undergraduate and Graduate programs, this position works to acquire, plan, contract, monitor and evaluate clinical sites and student placements in the baccalaureate and graduate nursing programs (on-campus and online), and ensures submission of department documentation and clinical agreements and contracts. This position is responsible for ensuring faculty and students are compliant with department and clinical partner requirements.

Essential Functions 
 Act as liaison between clinical partners' personnel and the Department of Nursing and Public Health
Collaborate with program directors to determine clinical needs for each semester
Identify and submit clinical placement requests to clinical agencies to meet deadlines for submittal
Maintain database with clinical partners' information and site confirmation for each semester
Establish and execute new (and renew current) clinical site affiliation agreements in collaboration with the Chair, Dean, and Office of Business and Finance for on-campus and online programs
Coordinate incoming student orientation, set up CPR certification classes, and verify clinical requirements utilizing Complio database
Ensure faculty and students complete all clinical partners' requirements to start rotations
Attend clinical partners' annual/semi-annual informational meetings
Track preceptor receipts for on-campus and online clinical rotations
Plan annual clinical partners event
Assist when needed with other departments within the School of Health Sciences
Assist the Senior Administrative Assistant in the School of Health Sciences as needed
Assume other responsibilities as designated by the Chair and Dean

Minimum Qualifications 
 Two years' experience in an administrative assistant role
Excellent communication and organizational skills, and attention to detail
Collaborative and consultative working style
Competency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Word
Preferred Qualifications 
 Knowledge of My Clinical Exchange and Complio
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements 
 Employee is subject to indoor work, protected from weather conditions. Work is sedentary in nature and involves exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently/constantly in order to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
Work Hours 
 Typically, Monday-Friday and 8:00am-4:30pm, with flexibility as needed by the Chair and Dean
