We are looking for a Director of Marketing in 401 N Michigan Ave, Suite 1400, Chicago, IL 60611 USA. Your mission will be to:

Develop marketing strategies and tactics in North America (US, Canada & Mexico) for all key industry segments, service categories and regional market sectors. Lead and develop a team of Marketing Specialists to create and execute a cohesive marketing plan through enhancing current processes, collaborating with business leaders and bringing creative approaches to all communications outlets. Support global Corporate communication projects as needed.

Development of data driven solutions to enhance lead generation and lead quality through use of internal data capture and external industry trends in defined key growth categories

Develop, direct and manage projects of the marketing team to define strategies for each service offering and ensure Marketing Plans for each offering are developed in line with Business Unit expectations and business development needs.

Responsible for external marketing communications campaigns; such as, new product introductions, literature development, inventory and fulfillment, service promotions, the direction of electronic newsletters, and lead management.

Responsible for internal marketing communications campaigns: such as corporate communications and template creation for functional communications

Manage Digital Marketing to establish outbound promotions and measure in-bound activity using defined metrics to identify ROI and implement change as needed to maximize ROI through the use of Hubspot and Salesforce

Lead the marketing team to develop and enhance the North America website to expand brand recognition, improve website performance (SEO) and drive continuous creation of industry relevant content to drive ongoing website traffic

Develop a defined strategy around the most effective application of our Social Media approach and systems to ensure we are active and visible in the most relevant key outlets, which may include: Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn.

Provide analytical and strategic planning assistance for Merieux NutriSciences commercial team and support action items that enhance lead generation and support in North America.

Manage programs and budgets for associations, publications, agencies, freelancers, platforms and production vendors.
Identify new Marketing outlets such as banner ads, electronic ads, etc. to further enhance industry recognition of the brand name and ease of finding the brand when searches are made.

Support Corporate team as needed to suggest enhancements and updates to worldwide websites and marketing sites. Implement corporate image that assures consistency in marketing tools worldwide. Work closely with corporate communications and HR to develop and implement internal and external communication of the company's corporate messages.

Work with the marketing communications team to create, develop, and write external customer communications.

Oversee the development and implementation of collateral materials to include direct campaign programs, brochures, catalogs, product sheets, and presentations. Coordinate the use of collateral materials to support all North American needs and as needed international operations.

Direct, manage, and budget for Merieux NutriSciences presence amongst food industry and scientific associations. Maintain a database of key contacts, program committees, annual meetings, and expos. Lead in the development of speaker assignments, directory ads, and event sponsorship

Development of industry association plans including partnership opportunities, trade show schedule, budgets, expenses, booth space booking, displays, logistics, housing, promotion, execution, and performance evaluation for continued engagement or enhanced engagement.

Cultivate, maintain, and expand close relationships with members of the press, media organizations, and individuals affecting public opinion of Merieux NutriSciences, our programs, leadership, and day-to-day operations.
