We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our Marketing and Communications team who is passionate about human services and the work we do! This role will play a crucial part in supporting our marketing and communications efforts, contributing to the development and implementation of strategies to enhance our brand and engagement with our target audience. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, creative thinking, and a passion for marketing and communications.

 

Chestnut Health Systems is a leading provider of behavioral and primary health care services. Over four decades, Chestnut has grown to almost 800 committed, compassionate employees providing substance use, mental health, and primary care treatment to patients in Illinois and Missouri. We provide fully integrated care for all our patients by combining behavioral health care services with our community-based primary care health centers. Chestnut also conducts research and training throughout the U.S.A.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the marketing and communications team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, organizing files, attending meetings as needed, maintaining organized records, compiling information packets, acquiring estimates and quotes, making phone calls, etc.
  • Content Creation: Assist/Develop in the creation of engaging content for various marketing channels, including social media, website, email campaigns, and print materials.
  • Social Media: Help the team manage and maintain our social media presence by scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and responding to comments and messages.
  • Event Coordination: Plan and coordination of events, including community events and internal events. Assist with department ordering and budget management.
  • Digital Marketing: Assist in the creation and deployment of digital marketing campaigns, including content creation, list management, and performance tracking.
  • Assist with other marketing and communications activities as requested as well as general office duties.
  • Work closely with the Marketing and Communications Manager and Director to ensure message and brand consistency.
  • Promote Chestnut’s culture of customer service excellence through the adherence to Chestnut’s behavioral standards for customer service.
  • Maintain and project confidentiality and security of all organizational information gained while performing job responsibilities including, but not limited to, financial and client information.
  • Other duties as assigned.
