The Senior Director of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) Systems will lead the Information Systems ERP team with responsibilities for contributing to the overall department strategic plan and adapt that plan for ERP implementation, program execution for enterprise level implementations, system operations and availability, roadmap creation and execution and modernization initiatives for key Enterprise Resource Planning systems utilized in Medline US and select international locations.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Accountable for developing and managing, ERP systems across the organization.
  • Accountable to create a multi-regional organization to support ERP development, support and availability that is highly efficient and cost effective.
  • Responsible for identifying future ERP roadmaps in collaboration with Enterprise Architecture and to execute on that roadmap, relay progress to executives and adjust as necessary.
  • In collaboration with other senior leaders, lead discussions with cross-functional Leaders to determine the appropriate enterprise solutions.
  • Maintain collaborative relationships with the ERP vendors, internal and external ERP implementation professionals and analysts, internal end-users, and other project partners.
  • Assist executives throughout the organization in defining how best to use the ERP to meet organizational goals and strategic plans.
  • Responsible for driving rationalization and automation of processes and solutions, as well as efficient use of resources across all business sectors, while maintaining service levels.
  • Serve as the Technology ERP order to cash expert for all areas of Medline, both during installation & maintenance phases.
  • Serve as the Technology ERP record to report expert for all areas of Medline, both during installation & maintenance phases.
  • Serve as the Technology ERP source to pay expert for all areas of Medline, both during installation & maintenance phases.
  • Lead teams that manage, test and/or oversee testing of all software updates/new releases.
  • Lead teams that are actively involved in the development of training programs for end users prior to going live.
  • Inform the Information Systems Leadership Team of all operational events pertaining to the assigned applications and projects.
  • Optimize all integrations by participating in, performing, and/or signing-off on workflow analysis & future state designs.
  • Management responsibilities include:
    • Typically manages through multiple Managers
    • Provide leadership and management to one or more major departments of an operating unit or to a department that has systemwide accountability
    • Strategic, tactical and operational planning (12 + months) for the function or department
    • Direct budgetary responsibility for one or more departments, functions or major projects/programs
    • Interpret and execute policies for departments/projects; develop, recommend and implement new policies or modifications to existing policies
    • Hiring staff, recommending pay increases, performing performance reviews, training and development of staff, estimating personnel needs, assigning work, meeting completion dates, interpreting and ensuring consistent application of organizational policies

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education

  • Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Business or related field expected.

Work Experience

  • At least 10 years of complex project management experience.
