The TSM Supervisor oversees various Logistics Operations and ensures CDW's compliance with all aspects of HAZMAT product processing and handling, including: product identification and classification, packaging, labeling, training, and transportation. This position also provides transportation expertise, project management and analytical skills to support the Logistics operation and identify opportunities to facilitate growth, cost savings, and enhance customer experience. This position will oversee carrier invoice audits, internal domestic help desk, freight claims management, insurance/risk management, high value shipment process and monitoring, and rating system compliance. This role will conduct complex data analysis and possess the ability to apply complex regulations to business processes and system funcitonality. The Transportation Service Supervisor will communicate these requirements to key stakeholders and assist in preparing applicable Standard Operating Procedures. This role will assist in performing risk assessment and mitigation regarding shipping any products classified as hazardous and dangerous goods, and will serve as a subject matter expert to clarify and interpret CDW's compliance with dangerous goods handling.

Key Areas of Responsibility
*Train Coworkers on policies, protocols, and procedures, including but not limited to HAZMAT, and processing and filing freight claims to ensure optimal execution.
*Identify innovative solutions to improve department efficiencies and transportation service.
*Supervise a team of coworkers, which includes coaching, development, and performance management.
*Monitor daily workflow to ensure that team duties are completed.
*Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and ensure open communication.
*Manage projects, specialty assignments, all HAZMAT activities, shipping process of lithium-ion and lithium-metal batteries, implementation for new or modified hazardous materials and dangerous goods regulations within the business to ensure ongoing compliance, Hazardous Material audits and General Awareness training for Distribution Centers.
*Make sound decisions and implements changes to reduce and eliminate freight claims.
*Collaborate with internal/external partners to improve processes and overall customer experiences.
*Oversee Domestic Help Desk and Logistics Command Center (LCC) program to move high value/risk project related shipments, electronic databases, and 3rd party partners assisting in carrier rating and audits, and carrier invoice audits.
*Build and prepare reports and analyze financial impact of invoice audits, claims, and cost savings.
*Develop project plans that define scope and business impact/risks. Gain cross-functional alignment. Identify and resolve issues/changes to meet project objectives.
*Provide internal consulting services to Sales concerning HAZMAT logistics (laws, risk of loss issues, supplier compliance, packaging and freight pricing).

Education and/or Experience Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
4 years' experience in Supply Chain Operations
49 CFR Certification/HAZMAT Certification
IATA/ICAO Certification/HAZMAT Certification

Required Qualifications
Advanced Microsoft Office experience.
Strong organizational skills.
Possess strong coaching and interpersonal skills.
Proven project management experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with all stakeholders.
Driven to deliver results, self-directed, and self-motivated.
High degree of diplomacy.
1 year experience in a Leadership capacity

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in related field.
Ability to work in a Distribution Center environment when appropriate.
Basic knowledge of CDW's internal systems.
