Position Summary:
The Corporate Services Assistant provides administrative support to the Paralegal Manager, attorneys in MWE Corporate Services, LLC (MWECS) and the Corporate Advisory Practice Group. The Corporate Services Assistant works under direct supervision and relies on instructions and pre-existing guidelines to perform the essential functions of the job.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Coordinate Delaware filings and order direct transactions with Delaware (i.e. good standings and certified charters)
Maintain and organize company records, contacts and essential documents
Handle emails, phone calls, and inquiries professionally and promptly
Ensure accuracy in tasks, such as data entry, proofreading and record-keeping
Follow established procedures and contribute to process improvement
Be open to changes and willing to learn new tools or systems
Work effectively with colleagues and support team goals
Be open to acquiring new skills and expanding knowledge base
Job Specifications:
Bachelor's degree or at least three (3) years of related work experience
Registered Agent experience is ideal and preferred - experience receiving and forwarding legal documents and correspondence from the Delaware Division of Corporations to clients
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Strong database management skills
Ability to handle and maintain confidential information
Ability to learn new concepts and skills quickly
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
