The Payroll Systems Analyst works closely with payroll operations team members to identify and define business requirements and IT team members to express configuration expectations and testing feedback. The holder of this position prepares test scripts, conducts and records user acceptance tests for system configuration and integration. The Payroll Systems Analyst must have functional experience with time and payroll calculations, regulatory compliance, payroll tax compliance, and general accounting and will apply the knowledge in identifying, recommending, and supporting system maintenance and enhancements. Additionally, the Payroll Systems Analyst supports payroll business users in troubleshooting, system trainings, and various data reporting.Leverages HCM tools to develop and test more efficient payroll business processes to simplify and ensure process improvement opportunities are fully leveraged.

Core Responsibilities

Build relationships and collaborate with business users of the time collection, payroll processing, payroll tax, and accounting teams.

Document business requirements and functional designs associated with payroll systems.

Identify technology improvements for payroll processing efficiencies.

Monitor for regulatory compliance changes requiring system configuration changes

Prepare test scripts and perform and document user acceptance testing.

Analyze system results for accuracy.

Support payroll business users in day-to-day troubleshooting.

Write system process specifications.

Provide payroll training on system use.

Prepare various payroll reporting.

Assist in company projects such as mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, including but not limited to, analysis of payroll impacts.

Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals to perform the essential functions.

Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited four-year college or university and 2+ years' relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience, required.

Minimum 1+ year experience in SAP HCM Payroll, required.

Workforce Software experience, desired.

Strong analytical skills, mathematical skills and attention to detail.

Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and assignments with deadlines.

Strong conceptual and problem solving skills to evaluate problems and apply knowledge to identify appropriate solutions.

Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment.

Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.
