Job Description
The functions of the position are complex in nature. The Pre-Award team ensures that faculty, staff and students receive the necessary assistance in obtaining and receiving external funding. This includes reviewing RFPs (requests for proposals); ensuring compliance with sponsor, University, state, federal, etc. requirements; budget review; submission of proposals for external funding; and other duties related to sponsored projects. This position requires continuous upkeep in training in regulation and compliances, and represents the university and its interests in review and submission of proposals.
