Overview

Expected pay for this position is $144.30 - $180.38/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity.
POSITION SUMMARY: The Vice President, Chief Medical Information Officer (CMIO) will spearhead the strategic integration of clinical information systems and cutting-edge technology, enhancing patient care and operational efficiency while leading efforts to improve overall efficiency, quality, and safety in patient care. With a focus on driving the adoption and optimization of electronic health records (EHRs) and other healthcare technology systems, the CMIO will collaborate with executive leadership, oversee training programs for staff, facilitate innovation and monitor key performance indicators to ensure system reliability, EHR utilization, and data security. Additionally, the CMIO will oversee the optimization and support of clinical applications and the overall processes for optimization and support for all healthcare applications.
Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
Experience:
Board eligibility or certification in a clinical specialty.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare informatics or a related role.
Licensure/ Certification:
Physician License
Other Skills/ Knowledge:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong knowledge of EHR systems, healthcare technology, data management and leadership.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Licensure/ Certification: Certification in Epic as a Physician Builder or similar compatible certification
