The Alzheimer's Association is seeking a visionary and results-oriented Vice President of Health System Sales to spearhead our efforts in engaging health systems across the country. This senior leadership role is pivotal in advancing our mission by developing and executing a robust sales strategy aimed at integrating our products, programs and services within health systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in healthcare sales, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for improving the lives of those affected by Alzheimer's disease and dementia.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic Planning and Leadership: Formulate and implement a comprehensive national sales strategy targeting health systems and payers, ensuring alignment with the Alzheimer's Association's mission and strategic objectives. Lead, mentor, and manage the health system sales team, fostering a high-performance culture and driving team success.
Business Development and Relationship Management: Identify, establish, and nurture strategic partnerships with health systems, including hospitals, integrated delivery networks, payers and accountable care organizations. Develop and maintain relationships with senior executives and key decision-makers within target health systems to facilitate partnerships and program integration.
Collaboration and Integration: Collaborate with internal teams and key stakeholders to align health system sales initiatives with organizational priorities and objectives. Represent the Alzheimer's Association at industry events, conferences, and meetings to enhance visibility and promote our offerings.
Revenue Generation and Sales Execution: Drive revenue growth through the development and execution of effective sales strategies, managing a robust sales pipeline to achieve and exceed sales targets. Lead contract negotiations and secure agreements with health system partners, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Establish and monitor key metrics to measure the effectiveness and impact of health system sales efforts. Provide regular performance reports and strategic recommendations to senior leadership, ensuring transparency and informed decision-making.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Strong sales acumen with a deep understanding of the healthcare market, including familiarity with health systems, hospitals, and related entities
Exceptional negotiation and closing skills, with a history of successfully securing and managing large-scale partnerships
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building and maintaining relationships with C-suite executives and key stakeholders.
Outstanding leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on mentoring and developing sales professionals.
Strategic thinker with robust analytical skills, able to synthesize complex information and develop actionable strategies.
Proficiency in market analysis, forecasting, and strategic planning to drive sales initiatives and organizational growth.
Knowledge of methods for systems change and quality improvement in health care
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in health system sales, business development, or a related field, with a proven track record of success in driving revenue growth and establishing strategic partnerships
Demonstrated experience in leading and managing high-performing sales teams within the healthcare sector.
Ability and willingness to travel up to 40% within the United States, by car or plane
Position Location: US remote with travel as needed
Full time based on 37.5 hours per week minimum
Estimated Annual Salary Range ($220,000-$250,000)
Reports To: Chief Programs & Mission Engagement Officer
