Job Summary/General Purpose of Job
Duties include initiating, directing, and evaluating specific technical and administrative functions on a day-to-day basis to further the work of the elected leadership. Responsible for scheduling travel, and meetings, as well as ensuring information and materials for said meetings reach participants in a timely manner. Additional responsibilities include generating reports and providing detailed information on volunteer assignments to committees, task forces and initiatives.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities (listed in order of importance and/or time spent)
Supports Leadership by providing accurate and timely information/reports on their Association schedules and travel arrangements.
Prepares, under minimal supervision, special projects, programs and initiatives for the leader, department and/or the Association.
Directs and coordinates a specialized function(s) (scheduling) that requires expertise in a particular area(s) and the use of independent judgment.
Directs and reviews the work of a staff person(s) or temporary staff when required.
Performs other related duties as required.
Required Education, Qualifications, Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience from four-year college or university or equivalent experience. (Experience would include: at least 3 additional years work experience in a job that involved interaction with sophisticated clients).
Must have working knowledge of appropriate software tools as well as strong internet research skills.
Must be able to work with Leadership at the highest level and work under high pressure.
Must possess 3+ years of experience that demonstrates the ability to show initiative.
Must possess strong communication skills.
Must be able to work independently and handle multiple projects.
This position may require testing.
Performs other related duties as required.
