Job Description/Responsibilities

 

The Brand Ambassador will be responsible for representing the La Martiniquase and Marie Brizard Wine and Spirits. In this role, you will will be the lead for the brand and channels in your area with a focus on building and managing influential account relationships, driving quality distribution, securing menu placements, and leading education at the wholesale, retail, and consumer level.

The ideal candidate will be located in the west. From Califoria to Chicago.
Responsibilities:
Analytical Thinker. Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
Assist in creation of national trade marketing programs. Involved in the pressure-testing phase of New Product Development to ensure that our new to world brands are properly positioned with the premium, craft centric consumer.
Evaluate and document the promotional activities of the competition in your marketplace and report on brands and concepts that are trending locally.
Expected to be in the field visiting and supporting accounts on a daily basis, achieving a monthly quota for account visits. Greatly increase the brands' presence in your assigned accounts.
Achieve assigned KPIs including distribution, menu placements, and volume initiatives.
Build a tremendous track record and network in the bartending & mixology community, sharing your genuine passion for the craft spirit space. Maintain a database of industry influencers and foster relationships with this guild.
Identify spirit categories and brands that are trending in their early stages, with a focus on filling gaps that exist in the portfolio.
Spearhead industry leading educational seminars for the on-premise influencers in your market. Deliver category and brand specific trainings to our wholesale partners to multiply our efforts in the marketplace by instilling proper sales techniques. Provide cocktail suggestions and techniques, wait staff trainings, and drink pairing ideas.
Drive sales, visibility, and provide appropriate support within your broader-reaching Direct Touch account universe.
Participate in quarterly business reviews with distributor management to ensure achievement of company sales objectives in line with our fiscal calendar. Closely monitor inventory, sales and program execution. Participate in monthly ride-alongs to build your network within the wholesaler and ensure sales representatives are properly educated on our brands and mission. Present sales programs at General Sales Meetings.
Develop and manage promotional budget to capitalize on local opportunities, and ensure your dollars are tracked and managed effectively. Utilize Concur to manage your T&E and promotional budget.

Qualifications/Requirements

 

Ability to project a professional image
Strong customer service aptitude, ability to work with all levels of the organization from Field Level to Executive Management
Ability to quickly learn new systems/processes
Strong computer skills and high comfort using technology and systems
Working knowledge of MS Office Products (Word, Excel and Outlook)
Ability to drive results in a complex, high-growth company
Demonstrate the ability to work as a team as well as self-directed
3 years relevant experience (minimum) preferably in a fast paced environment
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum 3 years of experience in Alcohol Beverage Industry or CPG overall
21+ years old
Ability and willingness to work non-traditional hours (nights/weekends)
