Job Description Summary 
 Under supervision from the Director of the Student Wellness Center, the Office Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and performing the full range of varied, highly confidential and complex customer service and administrative assignments in support of health, counseling and wellness services.

This position will oversee the office environment within the Center to promote safety, comfort and conducive for students to receive care and support to achieve their personal and educational objectives. This includes attending to noise level, protecting the privacy and confidentiality of students in the office, and assisting with the facilitation of crisis and emergency care for students in physical or psychological distress. The Office Coordinator is the first to receive students, faculty, staff, family members, and off-campus guests who come to, or call the office seeking help or direction for students. Being organized, efficient, and skilled is important, but being compassionate and empathetic to people with special needs is critical.
Responsibilities 
 Responsible to model the University Mission through dedicated job performance, service excellence to constituencies, respectful collaboration and active support of the University's Mission and Catholic and LaSallian higher education.

-Maintain patient/client confidentiality in accordance with state and federal laws.
-Oversees all of the support-staff functions, assuming responsibility for the effective performance of all assigned administrative support functions for the Student Wellness Center.
-Field telephone, walk-in, e-mailed, and mailed correspondence on behalf of the Director, Health Services staff, answering when able and/or routing as appropriate.
-Maintain budget tracking of expenditures and support Director and Center team in projections/planning
-Complete requisitions in Banner, supply orders and communicate with Business Office as necessary to facilitate effective completion
-Support Health Services Supervisor and Campus RN in planning, ordering and maintaining inventory of medical supplies
-Assist Director in preparing for departmental staff meetings, prepare agendas and take minutes as directed. Distribute to staff as directed.
-Assist in creating, maintaining office policies and procedures. Distribute to staff as directed.
-Oversee coordination of provider schedules. Maintain and update calendars as needed.
-Assist with the management of staff schedules. Triage requests for emergency appointments. -Consult, as necessary, with the Director and clinical team.
-Serve as the primary reception administrator - greet students, answer questions, schedule appointments, and help register clients for services. Provide assessment of care needs for students entering the Student Wellness Center. This includes triaging or identifying students in need of immediate professional response from the Student Wellness Center as well as other professional staff, including Campus Police or EMS, and communicating these needs as necessary.
-Maintain necessary documentation of any direct student communication or care coordination.

-Provide an atmosphere of sensitivity, inclusivity, and empathy.

-Oversee undergraduate Student Worker role assisting in administrative functions of the Center.

-Provide training and reflection process with Student Worker and coordinate with other Center team members as related to Experiential Learning process.

-Collaborate with Director and other clinical staff in working with Graduate Assistant on relevant projects
Minimum Qualifications 
 Associate's degree in office services, management, or equivalent required unless a minimum of five years current office experience in medical or mental health practice.
