Overall Purpose
This position is a senior advisor to the CTO for technology initiatives, with an integral role in Technology planning, governance and controls, and change management to drive Technology strategy across the Enterprise. This role leads the CTO office in delivering against company imperatives and alignment of tactical plans and resources with strategy across the business units.

Essential Functions
Identifies & leads prioritization of Technology changes to establish and run Technology operating rhythms, mechanics, and common standards across the business units, executing change effectively on behalf of the CTO office.
Optimizes business processes to enable Technology leadership to make trade-off and prioritization decisions and then ensure appropriate socialization across the teams/company is completed.
Serves as a liaison for the CTO organization with internal and external partners and connects and deciphers work streams, including representation in strategic partnerships, proof of concepts, product roadmaps and potential mergers and acquisitions.
Works with the CTO to outline objectives for the technology function and cascade OKR's/KPRI's into monthly and quarterly operating plans with clear interim operational metrics and business results.
Develops and oversees the IT budget and planning.
Builds a culture of cross-functional collaboration as well as analytically driven progress tracking and business management; provide exceptional leadership in building and developing highly engaged, high-performance teams.
Ensures the Technology team's work is in line with EWS and regulatory/compliance requirements and enhances Tech-specific processes for risk identification, prevention and management.
Supports the company's commitment to risk management and protecting the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data.

Minimum Qualifications
Education and experience typically obtained through completion of a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field
15 or more years direct experience in the design and implementation of high availability processing environments covering a multitude of industries and technologies
Senior level technology leadership experience including financial and payments industry
Ability to independently operate in a complex, matrixed environment and lead change via influence.
Demonstrated success developing strategic vision and leading strategy from inception through deployment
Knowledge of business concepts such as first, second, third line of defense risk functions and roles, budgeting, and IT governance
Experience managing and interfacing with IT operations, delivery teams, production support teams, engineering, technology PMO teams, quality assurance, and external vendor and customer interfaces
Highly effective interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills and the ability to develop strong relationships through collaboration

Physical Requirements

Early Warning works together in a highly collaborative office environment.Working conditions consist of a normal office environment. Work is primarily sedentary and requires extensive use of a computer and involves sitting for periods of approximately four hours. Work may require occasional standing, walking, kneeling, and reaching. Must be able to lift 10 pounds occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently. Requires visual acuity and dexterity to view, prepare, and manipulate documents and office equipment including personal computers. Requires the ability to communicate with internal and/or external customers.
