As a Sr. Manager - Dedicated Fleet, Zone Technical Logistics (ZTL), you will be leading the execution and strategy for the Dedicated Fleet consisting currently of 8 carrier partners and over 900 trucks. This position reports directly to the Associate Director, Logistics Projects ZTL. You will be owning the dedicated fleet strategy for the short and long term. This includes any necessary right sizing of the fleets, establishing and building digital tools to define the future, and optimizing through daily and weekly routines. Additionally, you will be owning fleet KPI's and operational performance and own driving continuous improvement, fleet accountability and communication with these partners.

Lead Dedicated Fleet Right Sizing and Strategy
Build continuous processes and routines centered around fleet right sizing and strategy for short- and long-term cost and service goals
Gain alignment from Senior Leadership on dedicated fleet strategies
Partner with Logistics Operations to execute the optimized dedicated fleet utilization and ensure expected performance
Partner with procurement to develop contractual language to meet short- and long-term strategies during annual bid
Work side by side with procurement and capacity planning team through the annual bid to ensure core dedicated lanes and awards optimize cost and service for Kraft Heinz

Dedicated Fleet Optimization - Build the digital future
Partner with internal digital team to discover, build, and roll out dedicated fleet optimization and decision making tools
Investigate and build business cases for investment(s) in external tools and systems to transform our ways of working within the dedicated fleet space
Own end-to-end project management on digital solutions starting with problem definition, scope alignment, vendor selection, to execution and change management
Examples of projects: Gate Fast Pass, eBOL, Route Optimizer, Backhaul Finder, Continuous Loop Builder, Invoice audit and processing tool, etc.

Lead Dedicated Fleet Optimization
Lead weekly reviews with leadership on KPI's and specific actions to improve utilization and performance
Develop cooperative opportunities with warehouse and customer locations to increase drops, decrease dwell time, and improve communication through actions such as on-site carrier/warehouse meetings
Owner of fleet performance and defining KPIs that drive decisions for annual dedicated fleet bids for rate negotiations
Design proactive process and communication channels with finance to calculate and communicate year over year cost savings and cost avoidance forecasts and actuals

Dedicated Fleet Optimization - Operations
Own the dedicated fleet transportation KPI results for Monthly Performance Reviews for Sr. Leadership.
Create and sustain MPR/QBR routines with fleets to drive performance, relationships, and optimization
Guide and support Sr. Analyst of Dedicated Fleet through weekly KPI accountability calls with the fleets
Develop and cultivate strong partnership with transportation operations team at Kraft Heinz to enable visibility and accountability across the organization for dedicated fleet performance
Actively participate in capacity planning rate reviews when lanes are favorable/unfavorable
Establish no touch exception management processes and audit controls around invoice processing and payments
