Responsible for managing the Global Fund Services (GFS) client service unit. Accountable for the performance management process and staffing for the unit. Participates in developing the strategic plan and manages the unit's expenses. Services GFS clients and prospects by managing a team that is responsible for responding to inquiries and providing insights surrounding GFS products and services.

Major Duties:

1. Manages a Global Fund Services client services unit. Participates in developing the business unit strategic plan, and sets goals and priorities based on the direction set for the unit. Follows through to ensure objectives are met.

2. Provides leadership and guidance to staff, fostering an environment which encourages employee participation, teamwork, and communication.

3. Oversees daily operations of client servicing and acts as the technical expert for determining the products and services to meet client needs.

4. Conducts the performance management process, identifies training and development needs, and establishes performance standards.

5. Determines staffing needs, making hiring and firing decisions, handles salary administration, and ensures resources are available to accomplish priorities.

6. Develops unit(s) budget and manages the expenses for the unit.

7. Researches and analyzes complex client inquiries. Handles problem client situations offering support and resolution.

8. Develops plans to assist marketing efforts to promote new or existing GFS products and services.

9. Ensures that staff is trained and updated on new or existing products and services.

10. Ensures a program is in place to monitor the health of our client relationships and develop strategies to maintain and improve the client experience.

11. Manages the team of Client Service Managers, ensuring all client inquiries are answered timely, liaising with the appropriate functional areas when needed.

12. Ensures appropriate representation in Client Due Diligence meetings.

Knowledge :

- Knowledge of GFS products and services, usually obtained through related work experience, is required in order to service clients.

- Leadership and organizational skills are required to determine the unit goals, resources needed, and to assess and develop the skills of the staff.

- Knowledge of Fund Accounting concepts and best practices

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Experience: 10+ years of client servicing and relevant industry experience is required
