Job Description
What this job involves:
As a Sr. Accountant II at JLL, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and maintaining financial records for our organization. You will contribute to the financial success of our company through your strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and advanced knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Your day-to-day tasks will include:
Preparing and reviewing complex journal entries, financial statements, and account reconciliations
Analyzing and interpreting financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
Leading the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather financial information and support business decisions
Complete and support regular and ad-hoc reporting including internal and client-ready documents, reports and presentations.
Assisting with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports
Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and accounting standards
Mentoring and providing guidance to junior accountants
Desired experience and technical skills:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (preferred)
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or financial analysis
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS
Experience with real estate accounting or JD Edwards E1 knowledge a plus
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
Experience with data analysis tools and financial modeling
Requirements:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Ability to work independently and within a team to build relationships and interact effectively with business partners

Ability to multi-task, work successfully under pressure and effectively prioritize and manage time and workload to meet client needs
Preferred:
Knowledge of real estate or property management industry
Familiarity with JLL's financial systems and processes
