Job Description

What this job involves:

As an Accountant at JLL, you will play a key role in managing financial information, analyzing data, and ensuring accuracy in financial reporting. You will be responsible for maintaining and monitoring financial records, preparing financial statements, and supporting financial audits. Additionally, you will work closely with the finance team to assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

Your day-to-day tasks will include:
Processing and recording financial transactions

Preparing and analyzing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

Assisting with financial audits and ensuring compliance with accounting standards

Performing reconciliation of general ledger accounts and bank accounts

Monitoring and analyzing budget variances

Assisting with the preparation of budgeting and forecasting reports

Supporting ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting requirements

Desired experience and technical skills:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

CPA certification preferred

Proficient with financial accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Solid understanding of accounting principles and standards (e.g., GAAP)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance

Strong knowledge of financial reporting and analysis

Familiarity with budgeting and forecasting processes

Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

Preferred:
Previous experience in a corporate accounting role

Knowledge of commercial real estate accounting practices

Advanced Excel skills
