In this role you get to:

Build and maintain effective working relations with management and employees.

Delivery of Human Resources processes such as onboarding, benefit administration, pay reviews, performance management and off boarding - entire employee life cycle

Facilitate effective delivery of employee communications, including announcing organization changes, new hires, key initiative updates, and nVent and Segment news.

Identify and recommend opportunities for HR initiatives that improve employee experiences, grow high-performing teams and reinforce our values and culture

Collaborate with HR teams across the business and lead project work to drive consistent execution of HR services.

Provide day-to-day coaching and counsel to internal partners on a variety of actions to include employee relations issues, policy interpretation and application; talent management and development; and organizational design consultation across multiple sites.

Maintain HRIS data and ensure quality delivery of reports, etc.

Provide above and beyond customer service to employees

Lead engagement initiatives to promote a professional and enjoyed workplace

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related discipline required

3+ years of HR generalist/business partner experience

Experience supporting manufacturing functions preferred

Knowledge and understanding of employment laws, human resources theory, practices and legal requirements

Skills in consulting, collaboration, innovation, planning, decision making and organization to help identify and develop programs, policies, guidelines and procedures that will engage and retain a highly talented workforce

Ability to adapt to rapidly changing business circumstances, thrive in a constantly changing business environment and handle multiple tasks
