Job Description
Position Summary
As a Director, Data Integration and Innovation, you will contribute to Sirva's success by defining and executing the company's business intelligence strategy. This includes delivery of clear, reliable performance metrics, deriving actionable insight from complex business data, and leveraging data to understand and improve business processes. Candidates will be hands-on, exceptional technical experts skilled in design and implementation of cloud based BI and data visualization technologies.
Business Insights
Identify technology needs and make recommendations to business decision-makers
Manage the Data Integration and Innovation including developers, security analysts, support technicians and vendors
Recommend and Implement company-wide BI technology updates and hold sessions to teach employees on new features
Develop and communicate goals, strategies, tactics, project plans, timelines, milestones, and key performance indicators
Innovation and Data Science, including the development of new information products using emerging technologies
Oversee all project management activities, adhering to Agile software development methodology
Compliance Management
Resource and vendor management
Maintain Team Budget and Forecast
Maintain company hardware and software programs
Update technological equipment in the company
Evaluate the company's adherence to federal technology requirements for security
Qualifications and Preferred Skills
Minimum of 10 years experience in Business Intelligence
Extensive understanding of data warehouse and ETL technologies required
Experience in cloud data technologies such as Microsoft Azure Data Lakes or equivalent technologies required
Deep technical understanding of Microsoft Power BI or other data visualization technology required
Experience in web delivery of data analytics
Experience with Mobile technology and data visualization technology is desirable but not essential
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
