Job Description

SUMMARY
The Recruitment Specialist supports the company's recruitment and hiring efforts by participating in networking events, working with stakeholders at all levels to determine staffing needs, and performing internal tracking and reporting functions.
The ideal candidate should have a proven record of success in full-cycle recruitment with exceptional communication, networking, and critical-thinking skills. To be successful in this role, this specialist should be an organized self-starter with the ability to quickly adapt to changing hiring situations.
In addition to regular monitoring of our applicant tracking system and performing interview functions, the Recruitment Specialist may also assist in the development and delivery of management training regarding job posting and hiring regulations and best practices.
All employees are expected to protect the information and assets of the organization through heightened awareness of information security, cybersecurity, and risk management best practices, as well as complying with all applicable laws, regulations, and organizational policies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Proactively identify and engage with top talent through career fairs, employment websites, and direct soliciting to build a quality pipeline of applicants.
Build and maintain strong relationships with local colleges/universities to identify quality candidates with career goals aligned with the company's business needs.
Partner with hiring managers to understand position requirements and market needs, ensuring that the recruitment process is aligned with the company's mission, vision, and goals.
Develop and execute targeted recruiting campaigns in partnership with Marketing and other members of leadership to attract top talent.
Manage internal and external job postings across multiple platforms, maximizing visibility and reach.
Conduct pre-screening and interviews of candidates to assess general skills, applicable work experience, and organizational fit.
Maintain ongoing communications with prospective talent to preserve interest in future employment opportunities.
Collect and analyze data to provide insights into the hiring process, ensure legal and regulatory compliance, and generate required reports.
Identify gaps and opportunities for improvement in processes and functions of recruitment and talent acquisition processes, providing recommendations to the Senior Personnel & Development Officer as appropriate.
Assume responsibility for special projects and tasks as assigned
EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS
Associate's degree in Human Resources, a related field, or a commensurate combination of education and experience required.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Demonstrated understanding of ethical recruitment and hiring practices with extensive knowledge of applicable laws and regulations.
Strong critical-thinking skills and the ability to analyze potential project outcomes with the adaptability to redirect attention as needed to meet targets and deadlines.
Confident decision-making abilities and the skill to use sound judgment about the timing of choices; particularly the ability to make informed, responsible decisions with limited information or under considerable amounts of stress.
Leadership experience and the ability to manage a team of direct reports.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with internal and external customers at all levels.
A positive and proactive approach to work, demonstrating enthusiasm, adaptability, and the ability to maintain composure and professionalism in stressful or adverse conditions.
Proficient computer literacy, including comfort with Microsoft systems and Office Suite.
Intermediate typing skills to meet the needs of this position.
Current driver's license and reliable transportation with appropriate insurance coverage; additionally, the ability to drive occasionally in the course of performing assigned duties and responsibilities.
The ability to work with minimal or no supervision.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred.
Familiarity with end-to-end banking services preferred.
