What work will you perform?
The Manager of Agent Training and Development manages the team that provides support and training to Landstar agents. You will foster collaboration with Regional Management and Agent Development Advisors in the development of agents. The Manager leads a team of 6 remote workers with oversight for scheduling, evaluating, coaching and mentoring. You will produce training materials as well as regularly scheduled KPI reporting.
Management responsibilities for a team of about six individuals to include training, scheduling work, hiring, and firing
Monitor productivity and ensure work meets required standards
Perform or assist subordinates in performing duties - may perform some daily tasks depending on volume
Manage and implement necessary tools to ensure the team is efficient in their roles
Manage training materials; procedures and E-Learn content
Produce, analyze and distribute weekly, monthly, quarterly reports; including KPI's
Required Minimum Experience and Education:
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent experience
One year of experience in operations or training
Preferred Experience and Education:
Experience as a people manager
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to travel as needed
Efficient in Microsoft Office
Analytical problem-solving skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to make presentations and conduct meetings
Superb interpersonal skills
Professional demeanor
Good organizational skills
