HOW YOU WILL SOAR:

The Lead Cloud Engineer (LCE) will report to the Sr. Manager, Cloud Services in the Technology Department. This role is responsible for leading the design, administration, maintenance, and support of the enterprise infrastructure for a dynamic, growing business. The environment spans private and public clouds, networks, firewalls, servers, operating systems, applications, mobile devices, process schedulers, telecommunications, and general databases. The LCE will lead interdisciplinary teams comprised of development teams, client service teams and business leaders to design and implement enterprise solutions. As an LCE, you will build the Cloud infrastructure from the ground up. Working within a team environment, the LCE drives solution creation, providing hands-on support as well as operational support and training. This individual must be creative, client focused, solutions-driven, organized, and have the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.

  • Modernize and improve the day-to-day operations of hardware and operating systems, including Cloud Services:
  • Leading teams of technical and business professionals through architectural design, development, and deployment of cost effective and sustainable Cloud infrastructure and
  • Evaluate system utilization, monitor response time, and provide primary support for detection and correction of operational problems.
  • Coordinate and perform additions and changes to servers, network, operating systems and attached devices, including investigation, analysis, recommendation, configuration, installation and testing of new network hardware and software.
  • Ensure servers, operating systems and network components are implemented and adhere to the information security policies and infrastructure standards.
  • Utilize metrics and cloud native consumption-based services to improve cost efficiencies.
  • Design and Implement Cloud native services with CI/CD pipelines using IAC tools.
  • Create Detailed Design and Solution architecture, that supports the business needs and ensure that it is secure, scalable, reusable, and easy to maintain and upgrade.
