Job Description
Optimize and automate trading processes within a framework of sound risk management. Process the flow of
information from multiple capital markets simultaneously. Make markets in equity, commodity, and fixed income
derivatives. Identify trading opportunities by logically forecasting the financial market's next move. Provide prices
and liquidity to global electronic trading platforms. Manage the risks of a diversified portfolio of financial
instruments. Constantly look for new and creative solutions to take the team’s trading strategies to the next level.
Improve current electronic trading algorithms as well as innovate and implement new ones. Develop algorithms
and use custom built software to adjust prices, monitor positions, and make trades.
REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field. Additionally, the applicant must have experience with: (1) Using Onetick or Python for statistical analysis; (2) Performing calculus based analysis for volatility; (3) Developing trading strategies with demonstrated and proven PNL track record OR PNL track record of improvement with demonstrated PNL increase; (4) Leveraging verified market data sources to download data, research and processes to make trading decisions; and (5) Automating trading tasks and implementing trading strategies.
