We are currently seeking a End User Support Technician to join our team in Chicago, Illinois (US-IL), United States (US).
The End User Support Technician will be responsible for on-site installation, implementation, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting and/orrepair of desktops, notebooks, printers, and associated peripherals. Serves as company liaison with client on administrative and technical matters.
This position will be an on-site, client-based position.
Responsibilities
Provide installation, configuration and troubleshooting assistance for core desktop operating systems including Microsoft Windows 7, Windows 10, Macintosh OS X a plus.
Remotely connect and support end-user with issues related to OS Deployment
Support end user device refresh
Work with other teams to ship and receive hardware equipment as needed.
Comply with appropriate privacy, legal and ethical standards.
Basic Qualifications
3+ years' experience with deskside/end user support
High School Diploma or equivalent
Additional Requirements
Strong Hands on experience in deployment and management of desktops and laptops using Microsoft Windows Operating Systems in a Corporate Environment
Demonstrated proficiency with computer software including current Windows Operating System
Experience with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio, Project, and Internet Explorer
Intermediate to advanced level knowledge and understanding of hardware products, commercial off the shelf application and diagnostic and troubleshooting utilities
Requires basic to intermediate understanding of networking and security practices
