Hours: 6:30am-4:00pm/ 7am-5:00pm
What you will need:
Required Education and/or Experience:
High School Diploma/GED
Six months of cardiology or phlebotomy experience or minimum one year of general healthcare experience Preferred Education and/or Experience:
Previous Nurse Assistant experience
Required License/Certification:
Current CPR certification issued by either American Heart Association or Red Cross
Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) within one year of hire
Preferred License/Certification:
ACLS certification preferred
GENERAL SUMMARY:
Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, conducts various noninvasive cardiovascular diagnostic tests such as computerized 12-lead electrocardiograms (EKG), Holter monitor hook-ups and removal, event monitor application and retrieval of transmission. Acts as primary phlebotomist in the Edward Heart Hospital drawing blood samples and performing finger sticks pro-times.
