Job Description

What this job involves:

As a Transportation Coordinator, you will work closely with the Transportation Manager to ensure proper scheduling of employee transport for social and non-sociable hours, in compliance with local law and company policy. Additionally, you will be responsible for analytics related to transport services, vendor management, and solving problems arising from external factors such as strikes or extreme weather.

Your day-to-day tasks will include:
Documenting and evolving processes regarding transport requests and services

Conducting audits and generating analytic reports to ensure adherence to company policies

Problem-solving to address unplanned external factors (e.g., weather, strikes)

Participating in projects aimed at improving processes, user interface, and technology for the transport portal

Managing escalations and complaints related to transportation services

Assisting with invoicing as directed

Researching new programs, pilots, and improvements for the transport function

Performing any other assigned tasks and duties

Desired experience and technical skills:

Requirements:
High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is typically the minimum educational requirement for a transportation coordinator role at JLL.

Relevant Certifications: While not always mandatory, possessing certifications in areas such as logistics, supply chain management, transportation management, or freight forwarding can be beneficial and demonstrate a candidate's commitment to professional development.

Preferred:
Associate or Bachelor's Degree: Although not always required, having an associate or bachelor's degree in a related field can be advantageous. Degrees in logistics, transportation management, supply chain management, or business administration can provide candidates with a deeper understanding of industry practices and principles.
