Position Summary
Supports management of material handling automation projects involving a wide variety of equipment, machines, software, controls, and technologies.
Responsibilities
Supports and Manages
Planning, execution, and completion of projects involving structures, conveyors, machinery, robotics, AS/RS solutions, racking, controls, and software.
Project financials, cost management and project resources
Simultaneous projects in multiple locations
Project Management team on larger, complex projects
Relationships and contracts with multiple customers and suppliers
Creation and management of project records in accordance with company standards
Support training as needed.
Follows Daifuku Wynright standards for project execution.
Provides verbal and written updates for projects aligned to company standards.
Travels up to 50%
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Operations Management, or equivalent experience
Experience supporting project related work
Microsoft Office Product Suite, Microsoft Teams, and advanced Microsoft Project skills
Ability to handle multiple project assignments and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced results-oriented environment.
Self-motivated, inquisitive, and detail-oriented
Excellent verbal/written/listening communication skills.
Strong organization and collaboration skills
Ability to work weekends and evenings as required.
Japanese and/or Spanish Language Skills preferred.
Knowledge of working with projects involving machines, robotics, controls, and software preferred.
Knowledge of business accounting and contracts management preferred.
