Job Title:Technical Operations Manager
Location:Stillwater, MN

Job Scope
The Technical Operations Manager will oversee the Investigations workflow. This workflow will primarily support Manufacturing and Technical Support reagent system performance investigations. This position is responsible for overseeing and executing cross-functional investigations that support product disposition; product CAPA and process change implementation; and demonstrated direct and indirect leadership. Key collaborators in Quality Management, Regulatory, Manufacturing, and Technical Services.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

 


Supervise scientists with advanced technical skill-sets

Manage and hold accountability for tracking KPI metrics for Quality Notifications, CAPAs, and Technical Complaints and use data to drive investigational process efficiencies 
Lead and drive Investigations team projects and set priorities
Understanding of troubleshooting immunoassays; quality control systems; and quality management systems

Manage business priorities in accordance with strategic direction 

Develop and mentor employees into independent investigators 

Serve as SME for tracking and trending consultations and for change plan development 

Independently own investigations 

WIP failure mitigations: technical and quality disposition functions

Product Quality Control systems review and optimization across Manufacturing

Writes ECOs, validation plans/reports and Planned/ Non-conforming Quality Deviations

Product and process risk management SME

Technical Support confirmatory testing 

New Equipment IQ/OQ/PQ and transfer of equipment to Manufacturing

Provide input for annual work center budget

Education, Experience, and Qualifications
