The Business & Portfolio Strategy team at RWE Clean Energy is responsible for establishing and refining the organization's corporate and growth strategies. We gather market & competitor intelligence to track the trajectory of the industry and our competitive position within it, as well as partnering with internal stakeholders to support their strategic initiatives. The Manager, Business & Portfolio Strategywill help best position RWE Clean Energy for robust growth in the renewables sector.
Responsibilities:
Support the annual Executive Leadership Team and RWECE Board strategy-setting process
Lead specific strategic initiatives by establishing overall scope, schedule, and budget, identifying team members, and quarterbacking the overall effort
Interface with leaders and develop cross-functional relationships across the business to identify key insights and draw conclusions impactful to the organization's strategic direction
Assist VP in synthesizing and evaluating business and function strategies and analyze the enterprise-level impact
Monitor the competitive landscape to identify and prioritize opportunities, including tracking companies, identifying market trends, and potentially interacting with various sources for competitive and regulatory intelligence
Via strategic analysis and insights, identify enterprise-level issues and opportunities

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree required,Masters preferred
Minimum 5 years experience in the energy industry and/or management consulting required, with renewable energy experience a plus
Specific experience in a strategy and/or corporate development role preferred
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and manage stakeholder relationships
Demonstrated knowledge of or desire to learn about the Company and the renewables space
Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Teams
Strong leadership and communication, and ability to meet deadlines
Strong organization skills and ability to coordinate multiple tasks and deliverables
Motivated self-starter, goal-oriented, with strong problem-solving abilities
Able to work with sensitive or confidential information
Responds well to direction and is coachable
Is detail-oriented, has strong business acumen, and a sound understanding of business concepts
Pay range: The annual base salary range for this position in New York is $111,000 - $167,000.The listed salary range represents our good faith estimate for this position and represents the range for new hire salaries across all U.S locations. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. RWE considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's education & work experience, training & certifications, and key skills as well as market and business considerations at the time of the offer.
