Job Summary:
As a Supervisor- Environmental Health and Safety you will be responsible for ensuring safety awareness, identifying, and minimizing risk throughout the property.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Foster an environment that embodies Bally's Born to Entertain philosophy by creating a fun-filled, entertaining atmosphere
Enthusiastically promote Bally's customer-centric culture of offering superior guest service and actively building long-lasting guest relations
Conduct routine safety inspections throughout property and complete safety inspection reports
Conduct risk assessments, which involves analyzing risks as well as identifying, describing and estimating the risks affecting the property
Provides support, education, and training to staff to build risk awareness
Investigate property damage claims and losses, submits reports to the third-party claims administration and assists in property claims management.
Participate in the inspections and reviews of the Company's operations and facilities for risk management
Coordinate the Company's employee safety program.
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Must be 21 years of age or older
Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Illinois Gaming Board
Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred
Must have at least one to three years of professional progressive experience in risk and safety
Must have strong attention to detail
Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
Must be proficient in the entire Microsoft Suite and be able to easily learn other software programs
Physical Demands:
Regularly required to see, talk, hear, walk, sit, and stand
Frequently required to use hands to handle, feel, and reach
Occasionally required to stoop
Occasionally lift and or move up to 30 pounds
Work Environment:
The work environment contains bright lights, loud noise, and stressful situations.
